IDCON consultants become Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA)
IDCON Inc. announced five of their consultants have passed the Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) exam in December and have received their official CAMA certificates.
The five consultants include IDCON President Torbjorn Idhammar, Vice President Owe Forsberg, Senior Consultant Michael Lippig, Senior Consultant Dean Weiberg, and Senior Consultant Allan Barry.
The CAMA exam qualifies IDCON Consultants to become assessors for ISO 55001, and demonstrates they have sufficient knowledge and comprehension in asset management.
- As a Reliability and Maintenance Management consulting firm we felt it was important to understand what ISO 55000 is and its future impact on clients, stated Mr. Idhammar.
- Our biggest takeaway is that it re-enforces what we have been saying for 30+ years that asset management can’t be realized through maintenance alone, it has to be realized through the partnership organization of operations, engineering, maintenance and plant leadership, he continued.
