FLIR said it has recently introduced new thermal and visible-light security cameras for enhanced awareness in a wide range of environments.
Designed for 24/7 vision, the new Saros DM-Series offers high-performance thermal imaging and 4K visible sensors. Delivering superior perimeter protection where it matters most, the DM-Series sees through fog, rain, sun glare, and snow. Eight available lens configurations allow operators to choose the most appropriate view for their application.
- The new Quasar 4K 22x IR PTZ camera delivers best-in-class low light capability and long-range IR illumination for exceptional performance in large-coverage areas. Built-in cybersecurity protection measures safeguard systems from evolving threats, the company said in a statement.
FLIR has also released two commercial off-the-shelf servers for United VMS designed for security deployments and improved system storage.
The FLIR USS Edge Appliance is a compact video appliance ideal for security deployments, including mass transportation, marine applications, and mobile command centers. With an eight-port PoE switch, up to 12 TB of video storage, and preloaded United VMS software, the USS Edge Appliance serves as an independent VMS or an extension of existing systems across multiple sites.
The FLIR USS-SMB Elite is a compact, high-performance server with video surveillance storage requirements up to 32 TB. The USS-SMB Elite is simple to install, energy-efficient, and supports up to 300 cameras, according to the company.
