PRUFTECHNIK and MAN Diesel & Turbo conclude training cooperation
At the MAN PrimeServ Academy, customers and employees who take part in operational and maintenance training courses can now practice using state-of-the-art training equipment.
With an OPTALIGN smart RS5 from PRUFTECHNIK, trainees can gain practical experience in shaft alignment of rotating equipment. The cooperation between MAN and PRUFTECHNIK has advantages on both sides: On the one side, the training with the new rental unit is gaining in quality; On the other hand, PRUFTECHNIK receives constant feedback from the machine manufacturer.
- For us at PRUFTECHNIK, the cooperation means a permanent exchange of experience with an important partner and we benefit directly from the experience and wishes of our customers for the development of future systems, says Michael Stachelhaus, Sales Engineer at PRUFTECHNIK Condition Monitoring GmbH.
A growing number of companies want to use big data analytics in their predictive maintenance and are also investing in the resources needed for this. Of the companies already using this technology, no less than 95 percent say that they have already achieved concrete results. This is the conclusion of a follow-up study conducted by PwC and Mainnovation among 268 companies in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
In today’s operating and production environments, systems and equipment must routinely perform at levels that were not possible a decade ago and which were unthinkable thirty years ago. Requirements for increased availability, throughput, product quality, agility, and operating effectiveness within a rapidly-changing demand environment continue to elevate the tempo and intensity of operations.
