Readers of the magazine are the members of national maintenance societies and all professionals who are involved with maintenance or asset management in Europe.
The role of maintenance and asset management has been changing significantly during the past couple of decades. The profession, which was previously considered a support function for production, has recently become the key factor for the competitiveness of companies. Today maintenance is a profession of its own and for more and more companies it is the core business. Europe is today a single market area also in the field of maintenance, reliability and asset management. However there has been a lack of joint European communication channel of research, technology, knowhow and best practices within the field. MaintWorld provides a way to keep up with the constantly increasing speed of change and development in maintenance and asset management.
